I do think you're on the right track, and this time you used a term that I specifically recognize. I was never directly a part of this thing, and I don't know any secrets, but I was affected by this network by virtue of my father being involved with it. He offered me a single minor clue, once it was declassified, and shortly before his death.

Later, in my 50s, I researched, trying to make sense of my life, and was partly successful. A particularly helpful book was Fletcher Prouty's _The Secret Team_. That book contains details that match precisely with what little I know, as a family member, about my father's life.

When I come across people digging into these matters, I sometimes mention Gary Webb (_Dark Alliance_), the investigative journalist who died in 2004. He had been living a few miles from where I live now, working for a local paper, and he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. Twice. The coroner found this not unusual.

Have you read " The Administrative State"?

I hadn't heard of that book, although after a brief search I would say the concept is (too) familiar. That's not the specific term I had in mind, but I'll have a look at these things as I am able. Thanks.

I'm probing deep within a software 'state machine' right now (computer science, not political science). I paused for a few minutes to let my brain cool.

Suicide by two bullets. I’ve heard of maybe one more far fetched type of suicide, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

I wonder who paid the coroner off.

You sound like you’re onto the mother lode ClearMiddle! More power to you!

This is concisely set out for us to read, thanks Henry.

Although I’m Aussie, I know the American Constitution better than Australia’s!

I would venture that no government, save maybe a few African countries are consulting their Constitution at all these days, save to see how to override it.

People power is the answer, but people are blinded (by God or themselves) to what is happening, and those who know are spread out around the internet and the globe.

Trust in and love for God, and selfless love of “thy” neighbour are of course key. My family and I are frustrated beyond measure at what God is allowing to happen, but it is written.

Doesn’t mean we’re giving up!

You and your work are appreciated Henry!
